Since starting Honored Events in 2006, so much has evolved from the simple idea of creating workshops with the intent of sharing the wonderful teachings of Spiritual teachers (in their many forms and modalities) with as many people as possible.

My vision is still strong about the workshops, but the journey attached to the vision, as so many of you can relate to, is so different sometimes when there are personal lessons to be learned before being able to "teach".

So after the 2007 workshop I was all set to do another one in 2008, but obviously I had made other plans with Spirit! On Boxing Day of 2007 I was out for a gentle stroll with family to burn off some of the enormous meals we'd ingested over Christmas, when suddenly my right leg buckled as I stepped down a step with my left foot - and broke my ankle! Needless to say, after a few days in hospital and a pin holding my ankle together, I realised I needed to reassess my plans for 2008!

This still remains my premise, except now I do this every day in small ways. Not long ago I was questioning why did I start this and why am I not drawn to put on anymore huge workshops just yet. (as we do question ourselves and Spirit from time to time!). And as you know Spirit will guide us, sometimes not so subtly, to those who can answer these questions.

In a dream I was shown as having a reading with The Essenes. For those of you not familiar with Yasha and his International College of Essene Healing, click here for more details. So I contacted Alex asking for next available time slot for a private session with the Essenes not expect to hear back from her for at least a week or two as I knew that Yasha would be booked out for at least 4-6 weeks. But as I keep repeating, Spirit has a way of orchestrating when you really need to hear what they have to say to you! That night I get a call from Alex saying that Yasha will see me the next day!

As you know Spirit tell us what we NEED to hear, not what we WANT to hear.

So, to cut a long story short, they told me what I needed to do to learn my lessons to complete my life purpose. It was not what I expected!! And even though this was enough I still had to ask about doing the workshops. They told me: "... you can do this work no matter where you are working."

And finally the AHA moment hit me like a sledge hammer. I had put so much pressure on myself to put together wonderful workshops that would bring together "gifted people" in a "friendly and professional environment" and didn't see that I had been doing this with individuals everywhere I've worked in the Corporate world.

I guess what I'm getting at is, we all have a sense that we should be doing something - whether that is on the world stage or behind the scense, so to speak. And the most important thing of all is to do it our own way in the manner that brings us the most joy.

For now, my bliss is to promote gifted individuals through this website's Community Events and by word of mouth. And my hope is to inspire other to follow their intuition - where ever it may lead.

As to what I'll be doing in 2012... whatever I choose that is right for ME at the time a choice is presented. The doorways are open and I welcome the next phase of my journey.
